According
to data released on March 3 by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing
(CFLP) and the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China’s non-manufacturing
PMI in February was 48.4%, down 4.5 percentage points month-on-month.

Experts
attribute the fall in the non-manufacturing PMI to lower consumption levels following
the Spring Festival.
February’s non-manufacturing PMI was 48.4; firmly below the 50
demarcation line.
