Recently,
China and the U.S. have reached an agreement regarding issues related to movies
after their World Trade Organization (WTO) dispute last year.

Based
on the agreement, apart from the annual quota of 20 revenue-sharing foreign
movies, China will introduce 14 extra 3D and IMAX movies each year, so that
private enterprises will have more opportunities to screen foreign movies.
Meanwhile, the U.S. studio’s share of revenues will increase from the previous
13% to 25%.
