to a report published on Dec. 12 by the Ministry of Environmental Protection,
62.9% of the public is satisfied with the urban environmental protection in
2010. Air and noise pollution were subjects of greatest concern among those
polled.
+ In 2010,
the disposal rate of urban sewage was 65.12% and that of urban garbage was
72.91%, up 1.7 and 0.85 percentage points from 2009.

Greater environmental consciousness and civil rights are shown in the
