According to the National Bureau of
Statistics, China’s inflation rate, measured by the consumer price index (CPI),
dropped to 4.2% year-on-year in November, compared with 7.5% in July and 5.0%
in October.

Food prices rose 8.8% year-on-year in
November, and non-food prices increased 2.2%.

The growth of ex-factory producer price index
(PPI) also dropped, hitting 2.7% YOY.
